2017 Research Awards:   

Awards:

Recognition is given for best posters by junior investigators in three categories: basic science, clinical and translational research and community and public health research; one of these three is selected as the best poster by a junior investigator and wins the Elizabeth Fries Young Investigator Award.

A Building Interdisciplinary Bridges in Women’s Health Research Award is given to the poster that best demonstrates interdisciplinary collaboration in women’s health.

Basic Science Research Award: #18 Zaneera Hassan

Clinical & Translational Research Award: #27 Bridget Quinn

Community & Public Health Research Award: #29 Enkelejda Ngjelina

Elizabeth Fries Young Investigator Award: #27 Bridget Quinn

Building Interdisciplinary Bridges in Women's Health Research Award: #9 Susan Bodnar-Deren

  • Title: Association between race, ethnicity and nativity with breastfeeding rates at 6-months postpartum.

Each award includes $1,000 travel stipend to present the research at a national professional conference.
