COMMUNITY-BASED SEED GRANT AWARDS PRESENTATION:
The Institute for Women’s Health announces community based research seed grant awards.
The Institute for Women’s Health announced the recipients of our first seed grant program, fostering excellence in community - based participatory research in women’s health. We are very excited about the opportunity to provide $86,000 in awards to nine VCU faculty and students.
The awards include one demonstration project developed to serve as the rallying point for the program. These projects will bridge academia with pressing community needs and contribute to improving the health of women and girls in our community, playing a critical role in the Institute’s goal of community engagement. We look forward to fostering new partnerships that promote a participatory, cooperative , and co-learning process for VCU researchers and our community partners.
