Community Outreach Information Network (COIN)

The WHRC is part of a VCU consumer health information center partnership called the Community Outreach Information Network (COIN). VCU has four consumer health information resource centers. In addition to the WHRC, COIN includes the Community Health Education Center (CHEC) and the two locations of the Massey Cancer Center Linen Powell Resource Library.

The mission of COIN is to increase access to high quality health information for the greater Richmond metropolitan area by providing the right information at the right time and place in the right format. COIN seeks to accomplish this mission by strengthening the relationships among its multiple participating health information organizations and linking them with community agencies.

For more information about how the COIN partnership can help meet your health information needs, call 804-827-2646 (COIN) or visit www.library.vcu.edu/coin.
